Updates from the OEDP Team
Here's what OEDP has been up to the past few months, plus: reading lists, opportunities, and more!
Apply to OEDP’s Inaugural Data Stewardship Learning Circles

At OEDP, we believe that better data stewardship approaches are needed to unlock the benefits of community-generated environmental data. We also believe that we can build and learn better approaches in collaboration with one another.
The Data Stewardship Learning Circle invites a cohort of (15-20) environmental data stewards and community scientists to come together to tackle real data governance challenges. Members of the cohort learn practical strategies and test new tools alongside peers facing similar questions about how to protect, manage, and amplify the impact of community-generated data.
Through seven virtual sessions, we will develop your data stewardship instincts and build a data stewardship toolkit full of tools and workflows that can be applied to real-world data challenges.
Launching the Environmental Justice Tools Engagement Project
OEDP, as part of PEDP and its partner organizations, just launched the Environmental Justice Tools Engagement Project! You can read a bit more about this work on our blog, or fill out this form to get involved. We have some upcoming workshops and welcome participation from anyone who’s been impacted by the takedown of these tools. Stay tuned for some of our DC Climate Week programming, too!
Meet Our New Team Members!
